Not recommended. My suggestion matters little since you will have a hard time either streaming or buying this little oddity. I saw it in very poor resolution on YouTube. I had heard the even odder backstories about it for years but a public comment by Louise Stratton (She's Funny That Way) - - that it was unfairly panned - - and the death of its director, Peter Bogdanovitch (Paper Moon) suggested I give it a spin. It’s a very uneven film, the serious parts not bad but the madcap comedy grossly unfunny. The film stars Louise’s sister Dorothy (Galaxina) . . . Bogdanovitch inamorata who was tragically murdered. It also has Audrey Hepburn (Sabrina) and Ben Gazzara (Anatomy of a Murder) reprising their real-life illicit affair during the shooting of Bloodlines. I actually liked the low-key Hepburn/Gazzara scenes. Also present are performances by the two Bogdanovitch/Polly Platt daughters, Sean Hepburn Ferrer . . . and a very young John Ritter!
